AUSTRALIA

The flight to Australia was crowded, but comfortable. Singapore airlines have been the best I have flown with so far. It was on this flight that I met Paul. He reminded me of Crocodile Dundee! He had a thick Australian accent from the outback. The time passed by quickly as we shared our mutual love of nature and the outdoors. We exchanged numbers and I looked forward to seeing him again while in Adelaide .

I first met John in Sedona , Arizona where we were both facilitating workshops. We stayed with Joanna in a spectacular home complete with swimming pool and overlooking Sedona. John is a Certified Rebirther with the Australian Institute of Rebirthing (AIR). He is also a Remedial and Sports Massage Therapist. While in Sedona, I had my first and most amazing rebirthing session with him. My experience in that session has inspired the opening to my book “Dearly beloved it is I”. Every now and then we meet with like minded souls, who we know are deeply connected to our hearts and our Spirit. John, Angelo and Gayle are very much in that family of kindred Souls, and I feel truly blessed to call them my friends. I wish Gayle was joining us in India . She was at the Ashram last year and has shared her experiences and helped me prepare.

John introduced me to Rowena, who kept very busy keeping me busy and putting together my classes and private sessions. We had a lovely location at the ‘Botanical Gardens' in Adelaide for our class. How great is that! We learn so much from each other, and I look forward to my next experience with my Australian friends.

Easter weekend was spent in "Victor Harbour", a lovely seaside community. Joanna invited me to join her and her family at their country home. What a wonderful break and at long last I got to see more of Australia ! Their home overlooks the ocean. It felt great to take off my shoes and walk along miles of sandy beach. Nearby there is an island the penguins live and return to each night. I enjoyed taking many pictures of pelicans who loved posing for them.

A wonderful day was spent with Joanna's mother, Diana, who showed me the many sights of Victor Harbour and with her father, David, who took us out on his boat.

Before returning to Adelaide , Joanna took me to a game farm where we played with and fed the Kangaroo and Koala Bear. I had a great time! What characters the kangaroo are.

I connected back with Paul. He invited me to the races where I met his two daughters, Bess and Laura who were Ford fans. It turned out Ford won. It was a very hot day. Bess and Laura loved the rides at the fair ground, so I had a chat with my stomach, and braved the many rides they convinced me to ‘enjoy'. We then had a lovely dinner and a walk on the beach.

Beautiful Melissa, a wonderful soul sister!! We met in Kuala Lumpur and it has been great spending time together in Australia . Melissa has her own Pilates Studio and is an incredible teacher. We have been doing trades, and I've enjoyed going to her studio and working out. Instead of taking a cab she suggested I walk to her studio, a one hour warm up, then 1½ hour workout and a one hour walk back. We enjoyed the movies, the pubs, a boat ride, dinners, the beach and long wonderful talks. I love and miss her dearly! I know we will connect again.

My time in Australia has quickly come to an end. John and Angelo have left for Kuala Lumpur and will meet with me in India . Again, many good byes! I will return.
